What is Pluto?
Pluto is a social media app concept from Humanoid Systems, designed end to end and ready to build for your business. It is a fresh take on what a social app can look like: photos, Reels and stories in one visual space, built around the people you care about rather than an endless timeline.
Who is it for?
Founders building a new social network, brands and media companies that want a social space of their own, creator and fan communities, and organisations that want a private social app for their members. We build Pluto in your brand, with the features your audience needs.
How is Pluto different?
Most social apps look the same: one long timeline, numbers everywhere and settings buried deep. Pluto starts from a blank page. Home is a visual grid where photos, Reels and stories sit side by side, so people choose what to open. Viewing is full screen and immersive. One composer handles posts, Reels and stories. And the controls people care about, from hiding like counts to private accounts and two-factor security, are one tap away.
The look
A dark, space-inspired design with glowing accents, glass surfaces and a floating navigation bar, so Pluto feels like a place of its own rather than a copy of the apps people already use. We can keep it, or redesign it in your brand.
Every screen in Pluto
37 screens, designed and ready to build. Tap one to open it in the demo.

Questions about this concept
Can you build a social media app like Instagram?
Yes. Pluto covers what people expect from apps like Instagram, from photos, Reels and stories to comments, likes, messages, profiles and notifications, in a design of its own. We build it in your brand, for your audience.
How is Pluto different from other social media apps?
Home is a visual grid rather than an endless timeline, viewing is full screen, one composer handles posts, Reels and stories, and controls such as hiding like counts, private accounts and two-factor security are one tap away.
How long does it take to build a social media app?
About 12 weeks from the first workshop to the App Store and Google Play, because Pluto is already designed. We confirm the timeline after the workshop.
How much does it cost to build a social media app?
It depends on your features, your audience and how much video you expect. Because the product is already designed, it costs less than starting from scratch. We give you a fixed quote after a short workshop.
How do you handle video and Reels?
Reels up to 60 seconds are uploaded once, prepared in the right sizes for each phone and connection, and delivered through a content delivery network so they start quickly.
How do you keep the community safe?
People can report or block from any post or profile, accounts can be private, and two-factor authentication protects logins. Your team reviews reports and moderates content in the admin console.
Who owns the app and the code?
You do. Once the project is paid for, the source code, the designs and the store listings belong to you.
