MiDAS by Prana

The client

Prana Healthcare has looked after Bengaluru families since 2013, with doctors, trained home nurses and physiotherapists who come to the patient. Families book consultations, 12-hour home nurse shifts, physiotherapy and lab tests that are collected at home.

Prana asked us to put every part of that care into one app, MiDAS, for three groups of people: the families who book care, the doctors who consult, and the nurses who look after patients at home.

The family app

One home for the whole family's health

Families switch between their own health and a parent's in one tap. Ask MiDAS answers health questions, typed or spoken, and today's medicines show what the nurse gave, or what was refused.

Care at home, visible from anywhere

The doctor portal

Every call starts with a MiDAS brief

Before the call, MiDAS summarises the booking reason, conditions, allergies and the family's own words. Every line shows where it came from, and the doctor can flag any line that is wrong.

Safety checks at every step

The doctor confirms who the patient is and that consent was recorded before starting. Medicines that need an in-person visit are blocked on a first consultation, and every prescription is reviewed and digitally signed with the doctor's registration number.

The nurse app

The doctor's plan becomes the nurse's day

Nurses accept shifts, check in at the patient's home and work through the doctor's care plan: vitals, medicines, walks and meals. Readings outside the doctor's ranges alert Prana's care team at once, and shift notes become the handover for the next caregiver and the family.

Trust by design

Consent first. Families choose what a doctor sees, and photos of care are opt-in.
Private calls. Calls run inside MiDAS. No phone numbers are shared and calls are not recorded.
AI that shows its work. Every line of a MiDAS brief links to its source, and doctors can flag mistakes.
Safe prescribing. Restricted medicines are blocked on first consultations, and every prescription is signed.
Early warnings. Readings outside the doctor's ranges show in red and alert Prana's care team.
Help in one tap. Emergency 108 and Prana's care team are always one tap away.

How we built it

Twelve weeks from idea to production, across the family app, the doctor portal and the nurse app, built AI-native on Google Cloud.
